Announced at\u00a0Agoda’s\u00a02026 Taiwan Gold Circle Awards ceremony,\u00a0the\u00a0partnership is documented in a\u00a0Memorandum of\u00a0Understanding (MOU)\u00a0between Agoda and\u00a0the\u00a0Taipei City Government\u00a0and dedicated to\u00a0promoting\u00a0Taipei to a global\u00a0tourism audience.\u00a0By\u00a0combining\u00a0Taipei’s rich urban tourism assets with Agoda’s global reach,\u00a0the\u00a0aim is\u00a0to\u00a0boost\u00a0both\u00a0the number of\u00a0international\u00a0and domestic\u00a0visitors\u00a0to Taipei.<\/p>\n

As part of the\u00a0partnership, Agoda will\u00a0share\u00a0international travel trends and platform insights to inform the government’s tourism planning and strategy. Agoda will also\u00a0provide\u00a0digital upskilling\u00a0in the form of training and development\u00a0to help Taipei’s hospitality industry\u00a0improve their online presence and competitiveness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The MOU further consists of\u00a0four cobranded promotional campaigns,\u00a0improved information\u00a0handling on\u00a0the Agoda platform\u00a0for licensed properties, and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
