STOCKHOLM<\/span>, April 1, 2026<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Electrolux Group has decided<\/b>\u00a0to<\/b>\u00a0close<\/b>\u00a0its factory in Santiago, Chile,<\/b>\u00a0effective end<\/b>\u00a0of April 2026.<\/b>\u00a0A restructuring charge<\/b>\u00a0of<\/b>\u00a0approximately<\/b>\u00a0SEK<\/b>\u00a00.5 billion, of which SEK<\/b>\u00a00.2 billion<\/b>\u00a0is cash-related, will be<\/b>\u00a0reported as a<\/b>\u00a0negative non-recurring<\/b>\u00a0item<\/b>\u00a0affecting operating income for<\/b>\u00a0Region Latin America in<\/b>\u00a0the first quarter of 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n

The decision follows\u00a0a review of the\u00a0cost competitiveness of the\u00a0Santiago\u00a0factory and will impact approximately 400 employees.<\/p>\n

Electrolux Group in\u00a0Chile will\u00a0continue to offer\u00a0innovative and\u00a0cost-efficient\u00a0products,\u00a0sourced from\u00a0other\u00a0factories\u00a0across the Group and external\u00a0partners.<\/p>\n
