This initiative was under the guidance of the Fangchenggang Branch of the People’s Bank of China<\/span>, and was launched as a national pilot scenario at the China-ASEAN Financial Cooperation & Development Forum 2025.<\/p>\n

The bank adopts digital RMB as the fund circulation vehicle, leveraging the Beibu Gulf Port digital RMB comprehensive service platform to enable seamless payment channels and end-to-end transaction traceability. This provides a safer and more efficient settlement method for border trade.
