Despite a rapid surge in coffee imports in recent years, many overseas producers remain unfamiliar with these domestic tastes.<\/p>\n<p>Since its debut, the competition has received strong support from the embassies and consulates of major coffee-producing countries in <span class=\"xn-location\">Shanghai<\/span>, along with their respective specialty coffee associations.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s event featured coffee beans from renowned coffee-growing regions such as <span class=\"xn-location\">Brazil<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Ethiopia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Colombia<\/span>, and <span class=\"xn-location\">Vietnam<\/span>, emerging regions including <span class=\"xn-location\">Thailand<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">El Salvador<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Ecuador<\/span>, and <span class=\"xn-location\">Burundi<\/span>, and <span class=\"xn-location\">China&#8217;s<\/span> key producing areas like <span class=\"xn-location\">Yunnan<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Hainan<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The judging panel included R&amp;D and training heads from top coffee chains such as Luckin Coffee, Starbucks, and <span class=\"xn-person\">Cotti Coffee<\/span>, national champions of brewing and cupping competitions, and coffee enthusiasts from across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The result of the competition reflects Chinese consumer taste trends, providing valuable data for producers and roasters to better align with domestic market demands.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, the top ten coffees were auctioned both online and offline, attracting interest from roasters, caf\u00e9 owners, and coffee enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the top 30 winning coffees are set to embark on a nationwide cupping tour across major cities in <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span>.
