Emma McLoughlin<\/span>, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Ireland<\/span> to Malaysia<\/span>,<\/span> gave her welcoming remarks to the attendees. During her welcome remarks, McLoughlin\u00a0<\/span>noted that the European dairy from Ireland<\/span> campaign has offered an excellent opportunity to strengthen links with the Malaysian<\/span> dairy industry, and looks forward to continuing to build on these relationships into the future.<\/p>\n

Following this, <\/span>a panel of expert speakers delivered insights on the Irish and Global Dairy landscape.<\/p>\n

Robert Murphy<\/span>, from Bord Bia Dublin, introduced the opportunities that sustainable European dairy from Ireland<\/span> represents for the F&B industry in Malaysia<\/span>. Ireland<\/span>, alongside its European counterparts offers a wide portfolio of sustainable milk products. European dairy exports from Ireland<\/span> to Malaysia<\/span> were last year valued at \u20ac50 million, with milk powders accounting for over half of the total exports.<\/span>[1]<\/sup><\/p>\n

Guest speakers, Mr. Tim Hill<\/span> from Global Data, and Mr. YiFan Li<\/span> from StoneX presented on the evolving trends within<\/span>\u00a0the Asian Dairy industry.
