Bassett<\/span>, on stage, as she delivered Mayor <span class=\"xn-person\">Muriel Bowser&#8217;s<\/span> proclamation declaring it &#8220;Winternational Day&#8221; in <span class=\"xn-location\">Washington, D.C.<\/span> \u00a0The ceremony also included remarks from <span class=\"xn-person\">John P. Drew<\/span>, President and CEO of TCMA; H. Guests enjoyed unique cultural experiences, including exhibitors in traditional dress like the elaborate carnival masks and costumes presented by <span class=\"xn-location\">Bolivia<\/span>, or the high-energy performance stage programmed by the League of Arab States reflecting their regional heritage. Exhibitors also offered authentic handmade goods like jewelry from <span class=\"xn-location\">Honduras<\/span>, colorful Agaseke baskets from <span class=\"xn-location\">Rwanda<\/span>, beaded accessories and patterned textiles from <span class=\"xn-location\">Guatemala<\/span>, \u00d1andut\u00ed lace art from <span class=\"xn-location\">Paraguay<\/span>, Gulnor silk embroidery from <span class=\"xn-location\">Uzbekistan<\/span>, and beloved Lele dolls from <span class=\"xn-location\">Mexico<\/span>.
