On <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 28<\/span>, British Airways resumed direct flights between <span class=\"xn-location\">London<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Bangkok<\/span>, starting from 3 flights a week to 5 flights a week in January and February next year and 4 flights in March in the same year.<\/p>\n<p>ITA Airways has also operated direct flights between <span class=\"xn-location\">Rome<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Bangkok<\/span>, starting on <span class=\"xn-chron\">November 17<\/span> with five flights per week. On <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 1<\/span>, Thai Airways International (TG) started to resume direct flights between <span class=\"xn-location\">Bangkok<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Brussels<\/span>. Norse Atlantic Airways is scheduled to operate direct flights between <span class=\"xn-location\">Stockholm<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Bangkok<\/span>, starting on <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 29, 2025<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span> island is also welcoming new flights in 2024. Air <span class=\"xn-location\">India<\/span> started to operate its second daily flight (except Wednesday) from <span class=\"xn-location\">Delhi<\/span> to <span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span> on <span class=\"xn-chron\">June 1<\/span>, while Air India Express will start its four flight a week direct from Surat to <span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span> on <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 24<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>A new market for <span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Kazakhstan<\/span>, is also tapping the island. On <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 26<\/span>, Air Astana started to operate direct flight from Astana to <span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span>. Likewise, Saudia Airlines began its inaugural <span class=\"xn-location\">Riyadh<\/span>&#8211;<span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span> flight on <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 2<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Jeddah<\/span>&#8211;<span class=\"xn-location\">Phuket<\/span> flight on <span class=\"xn-chron\">December 4<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Going up north to <span class=\"xn-person\">Chiang Mai<\/span>, the city welcomed direct flight of Hong Kong Airline on <span class=\"xn-chron\">October 27<\/span>, making it the third airline operating direct flights between <span class=\"xn-person\">Chiang Mai<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span>. The other two are Thai Air Asia and Hong Kong Express. On <span class=\"xn-chron\">November 4, 2025<\/span>, Etihad Airways is scheduled to operate 4 flights a week direct from <span class=\"xn-location\">Abu Dhabi<\/span> to <span class=\"xn-person\">Chiang Mai<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>On <span class=\"xn-chron\">March 30<\/span> next year, U-Ta Pao airport near Pattaya will welcome 5 flights a week between March and May flying direct from Irkutsk and operated by S7 Airlines.<\/p>\n<p>As TCEB is promoting diverse MICE Cities\/destinations, we feel heartened with the increased flight connectivity between our MICE Cities and diverse overseas markets, whether they are key markets, long-haul markets or emerging markets.
