This is the context in which the partnership was established between UNESCO and the Relais &amp; Ch\u00e2teaux Association, whose commitments clearly illustrate the vital interconnectedness of food, health, and the environment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Second, pilot projects will be conducted by Relais &amp; Ch\u00e2teaux members and UNESCO Sites. <\/b>In keeping with UNESCO principles, implementation guidelines will be established for future pilot projects, including with the biosphere reserves of the Man and the Biosphere (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.org\/en\/mab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">MAB<\/a>) Programme and <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/35\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">World Heritage Sites.<\/a>\u00a0The projects, to be led by Relais &amp; Ch\u00e2teaux members, aim to promote UNESCO Sites and traditional savoir-faire by encouraging sustainable biodiversity conservation and use while respecting local cultures and preserving natural and cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>The first pilot projects will be implemented in 2025 by Relais &amp; Ch\u00e2teaux members located near UNESCO Sites.<\/p>\n<p>The driving force behind the Relais &amp; Ch\u00e2teaux-UNESCO collaboration is <span class=\"xn-person\">Mauro Colagreco<\/span>, Vice President of Chefs for Relais &amp; Ch\u00e2teaux and Chef-Owner of the three-Michelin-star Mirazur restaurant in Menton, France.\u00a0 Designated a Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity by UNESCO in <span class=\"xn-chron\">November 2022<\/span> in light of his commitment and involvement in sharing savoir-faire, Chef Colagreco has since been working to support the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme and to generate broad public interest and active public involvement in environmental issues.
