Total ECW funding in <span class=\"xn-location\">Iraq<\/span> now tops <span class=\"xn-money\">US$23.8 million<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Initiated in 2021, the multi-year programme delivered by <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4269514-1&amp;h=3069787917&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Firaq.savethechildren.net%2F&amp;a=Save+the+Children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Save the Children<\/a> and a consortium of international and local partners in coordination with the Ministries of Education, has already reached approximately 50,000 children. Despite these successes, challenges persist in improving the quality of education, reaching the most vulnerable groups, providing support to prepare girls and boys for the workforce, and addressing emerging needs related to climate change and other stressors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Despite concerted efforts by the Government of <span class=\"xn-location\">Iraq<\/span> and the international community, 2 million children are still out of school. Syrian refugees, children with disabilities, girls and other marginalized groups are the most vulnerable.
